Your first visit

  • Arrival

    Please check in at reception upon arrival. The medical office assistant will confirm some of your details (BC Services card number, name, email, referring physician)

  • Documents

    Please bring your health card and a list of current medications including a list of ALL creams you are using. You may also like to take some good quality photos of your skin issue with your smartphone or camera and have them easily accessible for review by the specialist.

  • Timeliness

    Our clinic aims to run on time. If you are late, your visit may be cancelled, and a charge may apply. Please allow extra time given the unpredictable nature of medicine. We advise coming to the clinic 10 minutes before your appointment and recommend reserving 60 minutes for the entire visit.

Dermatology

 

Dermatology is a specialty of medicine that deals with the skin and diseases of the skin. Cancers, cosmetic and aging conditions of the skin, hair, nails are all aspects of dermatology.

Dermatologists are a great resource to patients and other doctors in establishing a diagnosis for skin growths and rashes and determining their relevance to your overall health. These diagnoses include acne, rosacea, basal cell carcinoma and eczema as well as rare disorders which include infections, cancer, and inflammatory diseases.

Dr. Sabrina Nurmohamed
MD, FRCPC, DABD

Dr. Sabrina Nurmohamed, MD, FRCPC, DABD is a Board-Certified Dermatologist. Dr. Nurmohamed is a general dermatologist in Vancouver, BC. Her practice interests include medical education, practice management and quality improvement.

Dr. Nurmohamed received her medical education at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Medicine. She completed her Post-Graduate Residency in Dermatology at the University of Calgary.

Dr. Sarah Felton
FRCPC, FAAD, FACMS

Dr Felton has advanced training in surgical dermatology. She is fellowship trained in Mohs micrographic surgery. She focuses on surgical dermatology procedures at Spectrum Dermatology (cysts, elective removal of benign lesions, suspected or biopsy-proven skin cancer).

Dr. AlZahrani completed her residency at the University of Alberta. She also completed her fellowship training in laser and cosmetic dermatology.
